Ghosts,  witches,  spiders,  bats and werewolves filled the corridors and classrooms of our school last Halloween.

Students dressed up their most terrifying costumes and all together played a lot of funny games.

We cannot forget our traditional Jack-o-lantern contest. 

Thanks to the participation of pupils,  teachers and families we had a terrifying day.

USEFUL VERBS

HALLOWEEN

Last Halloween, our school was taken by hundreds of little monsters with the only purpose of having a fantastic and terrifying day. The setting was superb. Walls full of ghosts, witches, spiders, werewolfs and all kind of monsters; Jack-O-Lanters staring at you in every single corner and English input everywhere.

Wearing their favourite costumes, our students took part in different games and learnt more about this typical holiday which is celebrated in our school year after year.

Our school looked amazing thanks to the participation of pupils, teachers, and families. The decoration was awesome, and our Jack-O-Lantern contest was a success.

PEACE DAY IN OUR SCHOOL

PEACE DAY

Peace Day is on the 30th of January. This day is very important for our school and we usually celebrate it every year. We always sing a song and dance, draw pictures, decorate our classroom…etc.

This year we sang together “Bajo el mismo sol” by Jennifer López and made the world “Peace” with our bodies in the playground. We had to wear a white T-shirt because white is the colour of Peace.

Peace is very important in the world and in our school too because don´t forget we study together with the same teachers and in the same school.

 

CULTURAL WEEK

Just before the Easter holidays we celebrated our Cultural week. 

We celebrate it every year.

Every year we choose a topic and we work on it for a week. In this  week there aren't language or math classes, we do lots of activities such as educational workshops.

This year the topic was SCIENCE.

We did lots of experiments, learnt about different famous scientifics and studied a number of theorems and laws.

The school became a Science Museum! There were experiments everywhere, the walls were decorated with scientifics, even the library became a laboratory of Forensics! In it, teachers showed students how important is the science to discover a crime.

Apart from this, some parents, who work in jobs related to science, came to talk us about their jobs in labs or hospitals and, of course, to practice some experiments.

Children did experiments related to light and colour, chemical products, mechanics, electricity and so on.

At the end of the week, parents could come to see our works.

It was fantastic!
